Peanut Butter Chocolate Smoothie

Why you should LOVE this smoothie:

  • This smoothie is made with all-natural ingredients and has no animal products.
  • You can be spontaneous and adjust things to your liking (it doesn’t have to be pretty because it’s getting all blended up!)
  • The rich chocolaty flavour will leave you wanting more! (and it’s okay because it’s actually healthy)
  • This is basically a protein shake because there is peanut butter, hemp, and chia seeds.
  • Because of all the protein, it will keep you full and satisfied after it’s all gone.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups water
  • 1 banana (frozen or fresh)
  • 1 apple (cut into quarters, seeds are okay to leave in)
  • 2 cups Ice
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup oats
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoons hemp hearts
  • 2 tablespoons shredded coconut
  • 5 pitted dates
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Chuck all those ingredients into the blender and make sure the peanut butter doesn’t stick to the sides.
  2. Blend until the blender stops (If yours doesn’t have that FANTASTIC feature, just figure it out yourself. Who needs a blender to tell you when YOUR food is ready, right???)
  3. When fully blended, just simply put the smoothie into 4 regular sized mason jars.
  4. Can last in the fridge for up to 2-3 days.
  5. Bottoms up!
